Minolta X-370

On Jan 16th, 2013, Bob and I took the day off of work for his birthday. Our plans for the day were food and thrifting! We went to breakfast in New Lenox and decided to stop at the new Goodwill store to check it out. Neither of us had been in a Goodwill store and we both weren't really expecting too much. But we were both surprised on how nice that store is! We found a ton of older cameras anywhere from $1.99 to $4.99. We were planning on getting all of them but near the end of our trip, Bob asked me if I wanted to look at the Jewelry case. I wasn't interested but we went over there anyway and to our surprise there were two Minolta cameras in there! The kind of cameras we get excited about! They were a little bit higher in price, one being $19.99 and the other at $29.99 but we decided we couldn't pass them up. We put back a few of the other cheap-o cameras and put these ones in the cart. When we walked up to the check out, the cashier was telling us about how we can sign up for a Goodwill card for 5% off our orders over $20. Any way to save money I am all about! So I signed up. She then explained that they send coupons out for birthdays for 25% off. Bob then told her how it was his birthday that day and asked if he would get the discount if he signed up. The cashier was really nice and said she would ask the manager and it was approved! Not only did we get the 25% off due to Bob's birthday, but also the 5% off! The cameras ended up being a Minolta X-370 and a Minolta XD5! Not bad! This trip also provided us with the following cameras: Polaroid i-Zone, Kodak KB28, and the Kodak S500AF!
